DIRECTOR
Anton’s journey into filmmaking has been anything but ordinary. Born in Toronto, he spent his early years playing NCAA Division 1 soccer—until he realized storytelling was way more fun than doing wind sprints at the break of dawn. Swapping cleats for a camera, he started shooting wedding films, where he quickly learned how to make even the cringe-worthy toasts and questionable dance moves feel cinematic.
His first major break came with a music video for Canadian indie darlings The Dears. Featured on Wired Magazine and MTV, the project marked Anton’s arrival as a director with a knack for crafting bold, emotional visuals. From there, he built a career directing award-winning commercials and short films for some of the world’s biggest brands, including PlayStation, Apple, Starbucks, TikTok, JEEP, Samsung, Dairy Queen and Kraft.
In 2021, his short documentary Aftermask earned recognition as “Best of September 2020” by Shots Creative, while his heartfelt Wegmans holiday spot became Unruly’s “Most Emotionally Engaging Ad of 2021.” The following year, his narrative short Break Any Spell stunned on the global festival circuit, earning awards like the Special Jury Prize for Excellence in Storytelling at SCAD Savannah Film Festival and “Best Fantasy Short” at FilmQuest. Acquired by Canal+ for worldwide broadcast, the film also made its way onto international airlines, earning its place alongside Hollywood’s biggest hits.
Most recently, his 2025 Ticketmaster campaign with Megan Trainor won silver at the Clios Awards, solidifying Anton’s reputation as a director who moves effortlessly between genres and formats.
Off set, Anton stays busy developing his debut feature film, writing a young adult fantasy novel set for release in 2026, and trying (and often failing) to keep up with his red brindle whippet, Flynn, who’s convinced every walk is a race.
