Kristin is an award-winning director and writer with a knack for the funny. Known for her spot-on casting, comedic timing, and collaborative approach, Kristin thrives on pushing the envelope and creating fresh and effective content.

Right out of the gate, she killed it with her first national spot, Doritos “Check Out Girl” which aired on the world’s biggest stage – The Super Bowl. The ad garnered tons of press ranging from Adweek, Ad Age, USA Today, NY Times, Wall Street Journal and NPR. She was a finalist at the London International Awards in Dialogue Direction and SHOTS publication featured her as a Best Directorial Newcomer. “Check Out Girl” went on to air multiple times on “CBS’s Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials” and was shown on “The Ellen Show” as one of Ellen’s favorite comedy spots.

Kristin’s debut short film “Underground” swept the festival circuit, screening in over 60 film festivals worldwide and winning 11 top prizes including the B.A.F.T.A. Award of Excellence at SXSW and a licensing deal with IFC. Her work caught the attention of Walt Disney Studios where she penned a comedic short film, “Hiccup” and she’s currently writing a feature length comedy screenplay.

Prior to directing and writing, Kristin worked as a location scout on feature films, learning from some of the industry’s best – Robert Zemeckis, Nora Ephron, Sam Mendes and Nicholas Stoller to name a few. She credits this on the job training as her crucial learning curve.

A native of Chicago and a lover of all things Cubs, Kristin lives in Los Angeles in the beach town of Marina Del Rey.
